Rich Elias has reviewed movies for The Free Press since 1991.  His film column "In the Dark" has appeared in The Delaware Gazette weekly since 1985.  He was film critic for WCBE from 1988 to 1991 and has contributed reviews to other local and national broadcast media. His essays and comments on movies appear in several books. Elias is a regular contributor to CompuServe's Showbiz forum.

 

Elias holds a Ph.D in 18th Century English Literature and has taught at Ohio Wesleyan University, University of Delaware, Rutgers, and Temple University.  He is currently employed by Lucent Technologies.
