ATSDR Comes Back to Columbus

by John Thomas, June 1, 1997

The Agency for Toxic Substance and Disease Registry (ATSDR) is coming back to Columbus to discuss their two year old proposal to conduct a health assessment of residents living within three miles of the Waste-to-Energy incinerator (WTE). This assessment was a blatant whitewash of the harmful effects of the Columbus WTE. Please come to the meeting and let ATSDR know that Columbus residents are not going to fall for a federal pollution study scam! Also, call others who may be interested and let them know about this meeting.

Meeting: Monday, June 2nd
Location: 1767 Harrisburg Pike (Corner of Harrisburg Pike and Frank Road) in the Southwest Community Resource Education Center
Time: 6:30 pm

With Respect, in Gentleness and Peace.
John Thomas
