Below is a web address for a site that talks about linking consumers with farmers. Their recommendations are for a complex relationship between the two, but I think a simpler dollars for pounds approach would work better -- especially if it is delivered to the customer's doorstep. A recent conference in Kansas City, KS revealed that the delivery to the customer's doorstep is what gained repeat customers.

In any case this site is an excellent resource for linking farmers and consumers.
