Political Cartoons John Bailey I started drawing caricatures professionally while studying at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. In the 20 years since, I've lived in Columbus, Ohio working as a graphic artist, cartoonist and caricaturist. For 10 of those years, I was the cover illustrator for HOOT, Columbus' Cartoon Newspaper. And from 1993-99 I was the editorial cartoonist for Business First of Columbus, where I won several awards, including those for the cartoons shown above and a first place award from the Press Club of Cleveland. Currently and for most of the last 10 years, my cartoons have been seen regularly in the FREE PRESS of Columbus. |
