Stonewall is launching a community service effort for a wonderful local organization, Project OpenHand, which provides meal delivery, a pantry, nutritional counseling and education for persons living with HIV and AIDS. What we are asking is that folks donate any new toiletry items and personal products, such as shampoos, razors, toothpaste, lotions, etc. Especially needed are personal paper products. Project OpenHand is in great need of these products to use in their pantry for clients. All items can be dropped off to me at Stonewall anytime between now and early December. This will truly make the difference in the lives of Project OpenHand’s clients and it is an easy way for you to help!

So -- clean out your bathrooms and closets, gather up all of your hotel travel items that are collecting dust, go through your collection of Bath & Body Works gifts received, and never used -- and drop off a bag (or box, or two!) to Stonewall. If you are heading to the Center over the next few weeks- why not remember to bring a few items for the drive.
