Dear Sirs

I am an American ex-pat who relocated to Thailand 3 years ago. I am writing regarding recent news reports claiming that Israeli's are “taking over” certain cities or areas of Thailand.

While I think this is a legitimate concern, I am not advocating that the government prohibit Israeli's from moving to Thailand. However, I am imploring the government of Thailand to actively work to prevent soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from relocating based on their participation in genocide. These are violent people. Many have posted videos of themselves committing war crimes, IDF snipers have celebrated their kills. Others torturned and raped Palestinians within and outside of the prison system. Children were buried alive. These people should be allowed to enter the Kingdom of Thailand temporarily or permanently.

I think it is fair to describe Israel as a state based on Ethnic nationalism, and that citizens of that country have been propagandized into believing that they are racially superior to other peoples of the world. For that reason, they should be excluded from Thai residency. That would be a difficult line to draw, a difficult process to enforce.

It would not be difficult to screen incoming Israeli's for membership in the IDF or otherwise supporting the genocidal actions of the Israeli government. We do not need those people here.

I believe the most important attribute of this country is that people feel safe here, especially people from Western countries. Woman especially feel safe in Thailand compared to other countries. It would seem to be imperative to prevent people capable of the most violent crimes out of Thailand. These people believe that their religion justifies slaughtering innocent people.

After WWII, NAZI's were secretly allowed to relocate to the United States via Operation Paperclip, but the majority escaped to South America, primarily Argentina. Thailand does not want to be known as the primary refuge for Israeli war criminals.

I describe myself as a severe critic of the American Empire. I relocated to Thailand in 2022 for that reason at the age of 68.

While I may communicate my concerns to other Thai government agencies, I would appreciate any suggestions you may have as to the best method of advocating this position within the Thai government.
